These Affiliate Program Terms (“Affiliate Terms”) govern the closed, business-to-business referral partnership program (the “Affiliate Program”) operated by Marydan Vision LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16855640, with its registered office at Medius House, 2 Sheraton Street, London, England, W1F 8BH (“HoneyDolly”, “we”, “us”). They are incorporated into our Terms of Service by reference. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.
The Affiliate Program is a closed, managed partnership. It is not a self-serve network and is not a “refer-a-friend” scheme for end users. Partners are external webmasters, publishers, review sites, and content creators, admitted and configured by us manually.
1. Becoming a partner
1.1. A partner account is created only by us, on request. To apply, email support@honeydolly.com with a description of your audience and traffic sources. We may accept or decline applications, and may request additional information, at our discretion.
1.2. When your account is created we issue you a personal referral code and a referral link of the form https://honeydolly.com?ref=<your code>. Your code is unique and lower-cased by us.
1.3. A partner account is linked to a user account by the sign-up email you give us. You are responsible for keeping that email and account secure; access to the partner cabinet is tied to it.
2. Referral attribution
2.1. Attribution uses a ref cookie set by the website when a visitor arrives with a ?ref=<code> query parameter. The cookie is first-party, SameSite=Lax, Secure on HTTPS, and lasts for up to 20 years. It is a strictly necessary cookie (see the Cookie Policy) and is set without consent.
2.2. Attribution is last-touch: where a visitor arrives with multiple valid ?ref= codes over time, the most recent valid code is recorded in the cookie and is the one used at sign-up.
2.3. A click is recorded only for an active partner’s code. An unknown or inactive code does not overwrite the cookie and records no click.
2.4. Self-referral is blocked: you cannot be attributed as the referrer of your own sign-up. Attempts to refer yourself will not earn a commission.
2.5. Attribution is fixed for the life of the referred account. Once a signed-up user is linked to you as their referrer, the link remains even if you are later deactivated, or if the referred user clears their cookies and returns later — the link is recorded against their account at sign-up and is not changed by subsequent visits. Permanent deletion of that account ends its attribution. If the person later registers again, the new account does not inherit the deleted account’s attribution; any new attribution is determined from the referral information available at that sign-up.
3. Commission and earning scheme
3.1. Each partner’s commission rate and earning scheme are agreed individually with us and set on your account. The rate is a percentage. The scheme is one of:
- All payments — you earn the agreed percentage of every settled payment made by users you referred; or
- First payment — you earn the agreed percentage of only the first settled payment made by each referred user.
3.2. The revenue base for a period is the sum of settled payments by your referred users within the period, less refunds and chargebacks (other than rejected refunds) on those same payments within the period.
3.3. Your exact rate and scheme are shown in your partner cabinet. We may change a partner’s rate or scheme prospectively by mutual agreement; changes apply to the current and future periods only and do not restate past recorded payouts.
3.4. Commissions are a calculation and record-keeping service only. They are not credits, store value, or a balance redeemable in the product.
4. Payouts
4.1. Payouts are arranged individually and are processed out-of-system. HoneyDolly does not run partner payouts inside the product, and no payment instrument or wallet is connected to your partner account.
4.2. When a payout is arranged, we record it in the payout journal in your cabinet. A recorded payout contains a snapshot of the period’s metrics (revenue, earnings, clicks, registrations, conversions) at the time of recording, and the period’s start and end dates.
4.3. Recording a payout sets the period start for the next calculation to the payout date, so the next period’s metrics reflect only activity after the payout.
4.4. You are responsible for any taxes due on your commission earnings where we are not required to collect or report them.
5. Tracking transparency
5.1. Clicks are counted once per visitor per calendar day, deduplicated by IP address over a 24-hour window held in short-term storage.
5.2. Clicks from empty or invalid IP addresses are not counted. Failures in the click-tracking pipeline do not affect the visitor’s experience or the attribution cookie.
5.3. Your cabinet shows, for the current period: unique and total clicks, registrations, conversions, revenue and earnings, conversion rate, and earnings per click (EPC); and, all-time: total revenue (under the “all payments” scheme) and total linked users.
6. Partner obligations
6.1. You must not: use spam, unsolicited email, or intrusive advertising; bid on the “HoneyDolly” brand name or variations in pay-per-click advertising where it would override organic attribution; create pages that impersonate HoneyDolly; misrepresent our service or pricing; or refer users obtained through fraud, incentivised sign-ups, or any method that violates our Prohibited Content Policy or Terms of Service.
6.2. You are responsible for complying with all laws and platform rules applicable to your promotional activity, including advertising disclosures where required.
7. Deactivation and termination
7.1. We may deactivate a partner at any time, including for inactivity, breach of these Affiliate Terms, fraud, or risk to the Service. A deactivated partner stops receiving new clicks and new sign-up attribution; users already linked to you remain attributed, and commissions on their payments continue to accrue for record-keeping.
7.2. A deactivated partner may be reactivated by us; clicks and new attribution resume from reactivation.
7.3. We may terminate a partnership and the partner account for serious or repeated breach, fraud, or where required by law or our payment or infrastructure partners. On termination, any unpaid commission may be forfeited where the breach involves fraud.
7.4. You may stop participating at any time by ceasing to use your link and contacting us; your account can then be deactivated.
8. Changes
We may amend these Affiliate Terms from time to time. For material changes we will give at least 14 days’ notice (by email) before the changes take effect.
